RA890 Series PRIMARY CONTROLS
The RA890 is a solid state electronic flame-safe- guard control for use with industrial and com- mercial gas, oil, and combination gas-oil burners and burners-boiler units. It responds to the rectification-type flame signal produced by any Honeywell rectifying flame-rod, rectifying photocell, or C7012A Ultraviolet Flame Detectors. Suitable for intermittent of interrupted ignition. Ignition is returned on flame failure to try to re-establish the flame. Provides automatic safety shutdown if flame is not established at start or is not re-established after flame failure. De-energizes fuel valve within 0.8 or 3 seconds depending on model. All models have SPDT contacts and termi- nals for connecting a 24 volt separately powered alarm that will sound when safety shutdown occurs. Mounts on Q270A1024 sub- base (order separately), and there-fore is a direct replacement for most RA890F controls. The RA890 will also replace the follow- ing obsolete models: R177, R180, R187, R190B, R887, R890B, R890C, RA190B, RA890C. RA890G has similar specifications, but is for use with Honeywell C7027, C7035, or C7044 “Mini- peeper” Ultraviolet Flame Detectors.

R4795 Series PROTECTORELAY
The R4795 provides electronic flame safeguard protection for commercial and industrial gas and oil burners. A choice of interchangeable
color-coded plug-in amplifiers permits the R4795 to be used with rectifying or ultraviolet type flame detectors. Plug-in timers permit selection of prepurge times. Amplifier and timer must be ordered separately according to needs of application. R4795D provides lockout on flame failure or flame relay pull-in during prepurge.

Q270 Series MOUNTING BASE
The Q270A 1024 is a universal mounting base with dual markings on the terminals. It will
