This second generation design of the popular AF 3450 RPM flame retention burner combines the latest in technology with proven engineering and reliability. The result is enhanced efficiency and a burner which is the easiest in the industry to service. The AFII burner is also extremely compact, and designed with many features to increase its versatility and reduce installation time. The motor, blower wheel and fuel pump are designed as an integral unit, elimi- nating the need for a conventional coupling. This feature contrib- utes to the AFII’s reduced operating noise level and greatly eases servicing. The nozzle line/electrode assembly is removable through an access door on the back of the burner housing, so that service may be performed without removal of the transformer. A viewing port is also provided to allow observation of the ignition sequence. A single, one-piece flame retention head is used for the entire .75 to 1.50 gph firing rate range, and a positive-stop screw adjust- ment is provided for firing rate selection, eliminating the need for gauge or guesswork adjustment of the retention head. Intake air is accurately adjusted by means of an easy-to-read dial on the burner housing. Suntec pumps are standard on all models unless noted. Burner housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum, total weight is 27 lb.; dimensions: 12-3/4” high, 12-1/2” wide, 6-1/2” deep (less air tube assembly). A primary control is factory installed. 120v AC operation. For complete installation, order burner chassis, select air tube by required length, order air tube assembly and mounting flange separately.
