BRASS MIXING VALVES
Compact 3- or 4-Way brass mixing valves are ideal for reliable control of RFH or SIM supply water temperature. Manually adjustable. When choosing a 3- or 4-way mixing valve, size according to flow (CV) and not pipe size, for more accurate mixing. This often means using a valve that is one size smaller than supply/return pipes.

This 24 volt room sensing electronic thermostat controls manifold valve actuators (Mfgr # 260166), either independently or when used with Speedzone (Mfgr # 243047). Thermostat may also be used to control relays and other low voltage controls. This non-programmable thermostat uses fast responding control algorithms for accurate control. LCD display shows room temperature or setpoint temperature. Thermostat requires 4-conducter thermostat wire. 18 AWG or similar wire is recommended for all 24VAC wiring.

The 4-wire manifold valve actuator is used to open and close circuit valves on PRO-BALANCE heating manifolds. Use REHAU thermostats (Mfgr # 236407, 236457 or 236467) to control actuators directly, or connect through a REHAU pump control module (Mfgr # 243047, 243067 or 243077).
Features include a gray position indicator that provides visual verification of the actuator’s position. When the actuator is off and closed, the gray indicator is flush with the top of the actuator. When the actuator is on and open, the gray indicator will rise out of the top of the actuator and be visible from the side. A red pull-out tab is provided to reduce the force of the actuator when installing on the manifold. A dry-contact end switch is built in to the actuator. This end switch can be used to operate 24 VAC relays for pumps and other devices, and can be wired so that pumps turn on only when actuator is fully open. If required, connect the green end switch wires to a suitable 24 VAC-powered relay, to activate a device to be operated by the actuator’s end switch. Or, connect these wires directly into a Speedzone (Mfgr # 243047). 24 VAC “thermal motor” heating element melts a wax cartridge, allowing the actuator to open when there is a call for heat (power on). When the power is off, the wax cools and closes the valve (Normally Closed). Operation takes 3-4 minutes. 4 wires: Blue/Brown – Apply 24 VAC power; Green (2) – end switch. Length – 40” - Ambient operating temperature range of 32°F to 140°F. Low power draw: Approximately 2 VA in operation. Maximum 4.5 VA when first powered.
