High efficiency, high recovery, conventionally vented water heater is designed to provide years of reliable service and energy savings. Most cost effective choice for new homes or long-term replacement installations. Features Vitraglas® tank lining and magnesium anode rod for maximum corrosion resistance and Hydrojet® Total Performance System for peak efficiency and reduced sediment build-up.

Other standard features include 2” Non-CFC foam insulation, the Bradford White ICON System™, factory installed true dielectric fittings, pressure/temperature relief valve, snap-lock draft diverter and brass drain valve. XR models have additional side tappings for connection of space heating devices such as duct coils. All water connections are 3/4” NPT. Bradford White Extended Service Agreements are available for these water heaters.

The GX series are designed with a high input combustion system to produce enough hot water in the first hour for hot tubs, garden tubs, and body sprays, in addition to whole house duty. These heaters incorporate a pre-piped optimizer temperature control system to ensure a comfortable outlet temperature while provid- ing a steady flow of hot water. The helical fin flue is designed to maximize heat transfer, while reducing air movement through the flue during off cycles. Incorporates the HydroJet 2 total performance system for peak efficiency and reduced sediment build-up. Vitraglas lined tank with fully automatic controls, and two magnesium anode rods. These heaters produce sufficient hot water for domestic water and for space heating. Although, they do not utilize a separated heat exchanger, they are supplied with side connections for space heating. GX-1 heaters have 1” foam insulation, GX-2 heaters have 2” foam insulation. Additional features include Snap-lock draft diverter, T & P valve and drain valve.
