STRAP HANGERS

The INSO-LINE strap hanger is designed with a liner of specially compounded plastic that provides insulation against pipe noises that are otherwise transferred to floor joists. The hanger is supplied in “open” position with a tapered-end machine screw and a fiber washer for quick and easy insertion of tubing.

We frequently receive requests regarding the requirements for line sets over 50 feet in length. (Our equipment manufactur- er’s require additional considerations be made on all ine sets in excess of 50 ft horizional, or 20 ft vertical difference between the indoor and outdoor sections) Obviously, the first recom- mendation we make is for our customer to determine an alter- native location for the indoor and outdoor units that require 50 feet, or less of connecting lines. If this isn’t possible, we are faced with a number of considerations to accomodate the “long line requirement” such as:
