VISUAL HEAT EXCHANGER INSPECTION SYSTEM Visible Defects

The Visible Defects system utilizes an ultra violet violet light sensitive dye to find even the smallest heat exchanger leak. No questions regarding the validity of heat exchanger defect claims. The dye is a low odor, non-toxic, no smoke, florescent green penetrant which is highly visible when examined with the UV light from the interior of standard heat ex- changers. Tubular heat exchangers require injection into the tubes, with inspection from the air steam side of the heat exchanger. Locate leaks per standards set by AGA. Detection of a heat exchanger leak requires replacement of the heat exchanger, or heating appliance.

The SeeSnake flexible micro inspection camera allows detailed visual inspection of hard to access areas. Visually check behind/inside of pipes for leaks or exterior/interior of heat exchangers. Lightweight, hand-held design with a 2-3/8” color LCD viewing screen. 36” flex-cable with 2 adjustable LED lights and imager head. Uses (4) AA batteries for 6 hours of continuous operation.
