Modutrol IV™ADAPTABLE MODUTROL MOTORS
Honeywell’s new Modutrol IV family of adaptable modutrol motors and accessories allows a small inventory of selected components to replace virtually all conventional motors, including not only Honeywell, but Barber Coleman, White-Rodgers and Penn/Johnson models as well. Each Modutrol IV motor features an adjustable stroke and adjustable timing, so the motor in itself covers a wide range of replace- ment applications. In addition, interchangeable internal transformers allow easy changes from low to line voltage operation, and adjust- able auxiliary switch kits may be added to control auxiliary equipment according to motor shaft position. For contractors or industrial users who service a wide variety of modutrol motor applications, the Modutrol IV motors and accessories offer the utmost versatility from a greatly reduced inventory.
MODUTROL MOTOR M6184 Series
REVERSING • 2-POSITION NON-SPRING RETURN
Reversing, 2-position, non-spring return 3-wire SPDT or floating control motors used to operate dampers and valves. Use with SPDT controller; motor is powered in one direction to the extent of the stroke when controller makes, powered to extent of stroke in op- posite direction when controller switches. Replaces M644A thru -E modutrol motors. Add 198162AA (1C708H) transformer to replace 120, 208, 240 volt motors.

M8185 Series MODUTROL MOTOR 2-POSITION
SPRING RETURN
Used with dampers and valves where it is necessary to return to the starting position in the event of power failure or interruption. Used with SPST controller; motor is powered to extent of stroke when controller makes, spring return to original position when circuit is broken. Replaces M845A,C, E and M865B motors. Add 198162AA (1C708H) transformer to replace 120, 208, 240 volt motors. M8185D includes 220738A adapter bracket to match height of Mod III motors.

PROPORTIONAL • 2-POSITION SPRING RETURN
Used with a proportional controller to open a damper or valve to any position between fully opened and fully closed, with spring return to original position upon power interruption. By adding 221508A (1C709K) resistor board, a single series 90 controller may be used to drive up to six modutrol motors. M9185 replaces M945A, D, F and M955 motors.

ler. By adding 221508A (1C709K) resistor board, a single series 90 controller may be used to drive up to six modutrol motors. Replaces M934 motors. M9164D & M9174 includes 220738A adapter bracket to match height of Mod III motors. M9174C is equipped with 2 each auxillary switches.
M9184 - Similar in operation to M9164 and M9174 models, equipped with tapped shaft for Flame Safeguard and other applica- tions for burner firing rate valves or dampers. Replaces M944A, C, D and M954 motors.M9184D includes 220738A adapter bracket to match height of Mod III motors.
