Dual access valves, corrosion resistant epoxy powder paint finish, solid copper fittings.

The SFD filter-driers are compact in size, eliminating costly re- piping when replacing condensing units where space is limited. Designed for low pressure drop, safe working pressure to 500 psi. All models provided with dual access fittings.

The CSFD filter-driers should be used for motor burnout clean-up applications. It uses a molded desiccant core block that effectively removes and holds a maximum of contaminant’s with a minimum pressure drop.

STAS Series

REPLACEABLE BLOCK FILTER-DRIERS

For liquid or suction line service requiring replaceable desiccant blocks to remove solid par- ticles, moisture and acids. Molded porous blocks not only assure a dry system by absorbing and retaining moisture, but will also remove and hold harmful acids from the system. Shells are rated at 2000 psi burst pressure.

Replaceable block filter driers are sold as separate components. Order shell to suit system requirements and replaceable filter blocks as required.

SUCTION LINE FILTER-DRIERS

ASD suction line filter-driers incorporate a protective filter plus a desiccant specially blended for a maximum moisture and acid removal.

Especially well suited for system cleanup after a compressor burn- out or when major work has been performed within the system. Steel shell construction with full copper fittings provides filtration to 10 microns with low pressure drop. Safe working pressure to 500 psi.

MOISTURE-LIQUID INDICATORS

Provides an accurate method of determining the moisture content of a refrigeration or air condi-

tioning system. The highly sensitive indicator element gradually changes color in direct relation to an increase or decrease in the moisture content of the system. Safe, caution and unsafe system operating conditions are easily determined by matching the distinct color of the element with the color reference label. The fused glass eyepiece provides a clear view of the liquid refrigerant flow which, if bubbles or flash gas is present, may indicate insufficient charge, low head pressure or a restriction. Can be installed anywhere in the liquid line and in any position. Forged solid brass body with a safe working pressure of 500 psi, burst pressure of 2500 psi. Indicator element good for all common refrigerants and is resistant to dam- age by free water or motor burnout contaminant’s. UL listed.
