Under duct flow-thru humidifier is designed to deliver outstanding humidity levels when used on high efficiency heating systems. Fresh water continuously flows into the distribution pan where it it dispersed evenly over the entire surface of the evaporator pad. Healthful, moist air is quickly distributed throughout the duct system into every room. Tapered sidewalls of the unit allow air to flow through so that little or no restriction occurs in the heating system to maintain high heating efficiency.

The cabinet is durable, corrosion resistant, engineering grade thermoplastic with the pad housing constructed of durable stainless steel for lifetime service. The unit is designed to be used in areas where energy conservation is essential, making it an excellent choice for en- vironmentally conscious consumers. Although this unit uses the flow-through principle, Skuttle engineers have reduced water consump- tion with a 3 gallon per hour orifice and filter. Extends into the duct 7-5/8”, extends below the duct 6-3/8”. Installation package includes universal humidistat, self-piercing saddle valve, transformer and mounting hardware. Electrical rating: 24 volts.

Model 86 UD is designed to allow a maximum amount of air to flow through the unit. This feature allows the efficiency of the heat- ing system to be maintained. The evaporative pad can easily be removed and cleaned, or replaced quickly. Since the unit features a one piece mounting frame with sliding hinges, it is very easy to slide it completely off the duct for easy cleaning and servicing. Can be mounted on horizontal ducts 12 inches or wider. When used with the Skuttle® flushing timer, service can be drastically reduced to once a year in most cases. Extends into duct 3-1/4”, Extends below duct 6-3/8”. Installation package includes universal humidistat, self-pierc- ing saddle valve, water supply tubing, transformer, baffle and mounting hardware.
