R8184 Series OIL BURNER PROTECTORELAYS

Provides automatic, non-recycling control of intermittent ignition oil burner systems. Used in conjunction with a C554A cad cell flame detec- tor and a 24v thermostat to switch line voltage to burner motor and ignition transformer.

External push button reset after safety shutdown. Includes solid state flame sensing circuit and 24v transformer to power heating control circuit; mounts on standard 4 x 4” junction box.

Electrical ratings: 45 second models - 7.4 amps @ 120v; 15 & 30 second models - 10.0 amps @ 120v.

OIL BURNER STACK RELAYS RA116 & RA117 Series

Stack-mounted oil burner primary controls combine a protectore- lay unit for cycling and a pyrostat detector for sensing temperature changes of flue gas.

Shuts off burner upon flame failure, requiring manual reset; safety timing approx. 70 seconds. Element insertion adjustable from 3-1/2 to 5-1/2”; mounting by flat or curved flange provided. Manual trip safety switch to assure burner shutdown during servicing. Electri- cal rating: 7.4 amps @ 120v, 3.7 amps @ 240v.

RA117A - Flame or power failure followed by 1 minute scavenging period and one attempt to re- start, then lockout if flame is not re-established.

RA116A - Safety switch heater energizes upon flame or power failure, lockout occurs if flame is not re-established in 1 minute.
