HE Series CASED A-COILS, UPFLOW/HORIZONTAL APPLICATIONS

Cased A coils for use with condensing units, or heat pump outdoor units and are compatible with both R-22 & R-410A. Heavy gauge embossed galvanized cabinets, fully lined with foil faced insulation and interlocking, close fitting door assembly to reduce air leakage. Multi-position coils come factory installed with a vertical and horizontal drain pan, which can be configured for upflow, counterflow or horizon- tal installations. These coils utilize “Hydrotec” drain pans for mold and mildew resistance, and are compatible with UV light applications. The drain pans are one of the lowest water retention pans in the industry, further minimizing potential mold and mildew growth. Drain pans are tested to withstand temperatures up to 450°F. All copper tube with aluminum construction for durability. All coils feature orifice as- sembly designed for easy orifice change and fast TXV connection. Duct connection is approximately 1-1/2” less than cabinet width and depth.

7-1/2 TON AND 10 TON “A” AND “H” COILS “IN STOCK”?

Actually, we stock 4 ton and 5 ton coils which can be connected in parallel to work with a single 7-1/2 ton or 10 ton unit. Two 4 ton coils with TXV’s will handle a 7-1/2 ton and two 5 ton coils with TXV’s will handle a 10 ton unit. Dimensionally, the pair of coils are pretty close to the size of the single large coil. (Remember it takes the same surface area to handle the tonnage whether you use two 1/2 sized coils or one large coil). Price wise, the two coils are competatively priced against a commercial single coil.

Soooooo..... The next time you need a 7-1/2 ton or 10 ton coil, you need not go searching for one, you can put one together from stocked 4 and 5 ton coils with TXV’s.
