Radially-split volute can be left in the line while servicing the pump, eliminat- ing needless disconnecting of pipes. Tapped openings are provided for vent- ing, draining and gauge connections. High strength engineered resin impeller reduces axial thrust to a minimum, ensuring smooth performance and long life. The motor is equipped with heavy duty, permanently lubricated ball bearings and self lubricating mechanical seal. The motor shaft extends through to impel- ler, eliminating intermediate bearing bracket for close coupled design. The mo- tor, with bracket and impeller attached, can be easily withdrawn from the volute after moving the volute cap screws. 3600 RPM, connections 1-1/4” FPT suction and 1” FPT discharge.

Series H IN-LINE CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

Armstrong circulating pumps have over-sized shafts of special alloy steel, machined to exacting tolerances. Shafts have integral thrust collars, heat treated to provide long life under severe duty conditions. Radial split body can be left in the line while servicing the pump, eliminating needless disconnecting of pipes. These models feature the unique Armstrong shaft and bearing module for ease of serviceability and reduced inventory costs. A tried and proven method of preventing water leakage, the well known “Armseal” construction is often an imitated feature of the Armstrong circulator. Made of long-lasting, hard-wearing materials, it ensures many years of noise-free, trouble-free service. All circula- tors are to be mounted with pump and shaft in horizontal position.
