HM Series TRUESTEAM HUMIDIFIERS

The HM Series TrueSteam humidifiers offer a new ease of installation and a new dimension of reliability to steam humidification. These humidifiers can be mounted in under 10 minutes, can be installed remotely (Humidifier can be mounted ina conditioned space with steam delivery into an un-conditioned space up to 20 ft.) and can be cleaned/maintained with a simple lever actuated tank removal (no tools required). The TrueSteam humidifiers feature a non-stick, Incoloy 600 heating element, fail-safe water sensing, and a common sense interface with the option of operating the equipment blower on call for humidity. With the industry moving to high efficiency equipment, the air steam discharge temperatures are being reduced. The reduction in air stream temperatures cause other types of humidifiers to produce less humidity, result- ing in the area not reaching the desired humidity levels. The HM series is designed to work with the lower air stream temperatures of today’s high efficiency equipment. 115v power with 24v controls.

AIRWATCH™ PERFORMANCE INDICATOR

HUMIDIFIER CONTROL H8908B Series

The H8908B humidifier control can be wall, or return duct mounted for 24 volt control of the humidifier. The styling is designed to blend with the latest T8600 series Chronotherm IV pro- grammable Thermostats. A mounting template is included for mounting the H8908B on the wall, next to the T8600. However, the H8908B can be mounted in any convenient loca- tion as the wiring is not shared by the thermostat. Adjustable over a wide range of humidity requirements. SP/ST snap acting, dust proof switching.

WATER QUALITY TEST KIT/RO SYSTEM

An important consideration when selling and installing humidification systems is the homes water quality. The performance of any type of humidifica- tion system is dependent upon the hard- ness of the water. Typically, the harder the water, the more scale and sediment build up inside the humidifier, which can effect the overall operation. For this reason, Honeywell is introducing water hardness test strips to test the water before installing a TrueSteam humidi- fier, as well as RO systems to use when appropriate to reduce the hardness in the humidifier water supply.
