Ideal for use in oil supply systems which have from 0 to 60 PSI supply line pressure

on the inlet side of the valve, but requires a sustained vacuum on the outlet side of the valve for fuel to flow to the burner.

This valve satisfies many state and local codes which require a device to automatically shut off the oil supply before it enters the building if the line between the device and the burner breaks. It also relieves pressure strain on fuel pump inlets.

In-line mounting is recommended for best performance. Pressure should not exceed 60 PSI and flow rate should not exceed 60 GPH. Highly recommended for installation prior to the burner pump(s) on all Webster SPM Series supply pump installations.

OIL SAFETY VALVE

For use on fuel oil supply systems where a con- stant vacuum is required at the burner regard-

less of line supply pressure. Most commonly used in gravity feed, booster pump and multiple burner “loop” fuel delivery systems, or in installations where local codes require a device to automatically shut off fuel supply outside the building to prevent tank siphon- ing in the event of line breakage. Can be mounted anywhere in the system, in any position. Includes built-in bracket for bulkhead mounting and bleed valve for system priming.

PUMP-MOUNTED PRESSURE SWITCH

Low-voltage pressure actuated switch which fits into the gauge port of an oil burner fuel pump and allows intermittent operation of a supply pump in high-lift installations. Normally open

switch closes at approx. 50 psi to activate supply pump relay. This activates the supply pump while the oil burner operates. 1/8” NPT connection.
