PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES for Hot Water Boilers

This series of valves is designed to be used on hot water boilers, not steam boilers. They work on a pressure basis only, and should be located at the top of the boiler. Tested and rated by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors; and listed and rated by ASME.

Stainless steel test lever is standard on all sizes. 374A has an iron body with forged bronze inlet. 174A series valves are for hot water space heating boilers, bronze rust-proof construction, assuring safety and long life. 740 series valves are for hot water space heat- ing boilers, iron body, with increased discharge capacities. ASME rated and listed relief capacities at press setting shown.

A self-closing combination temperature and pres- sure relief valve for protection of gas-fired hot water heaters, storage tanks and range boilers. Valve is ASME listed and certified by AGA. All bronze body with stainless steel spring. Thermo- static element has a special coating which forms a dielectric barrier to prevent accumulation of mate- rial deposits and galvanic corrosive action. Male

Fully automatic temperature and pressure relief protection for hot water supply tanks and heaters. Bronze body construction with non-mechanical seat-to-disc alignment that will not stick or freeze.

Standard with test lever and 5” thermostat for installation in hot water outlet or directly in available tank tappings. Valve is 5-1/2” high (less thermostat), certified by CSA and meets current FHA requirements. Temperature relief set at 210°F.
