Truly the one of the most efficient and reliable boilers in the industry, the MPO oil fired boiler utilizes a cast iron, 3 pass heat exchanger to deliver 87% AFUE. This is a wet base, rear flue boiler designed from the ground up for hassle free service and installation peace of mind. The three pass design allows the entire block to be cleaned and vacuumed without removing the flue pipe, while the cast iron, full length, swing out, burner door allows easy access to all of the heating surfaces. Removable stainless steel baffles allow the MPO to be installed on a variety of chimney applications. An Iso-Quiet Beckett burner cover reduces noise, and allows entry for an outside combus- tion air intake kit ( R.E.Michel Cat # 2W245). Use the MPO with an Alliance indirect water heater to supply all of the heating and hot water needs for the home with the added benefit of lower fuel consumption and greater monthly energy savings. Supply and return con- nections are 1-1/2” FPT - rear flue connection.

SELL A NEW DIAPHRAGM TYPE EXPANSION TANK ON EVERY HOT WATER BOILER REPLACEMENT

Older non-diaphragm type tanks can cause air to leave the tank and enter the system. The tank then fills with water, leaving no room for expansion of the system water volume when heated. This will cause an increase in system pressure and the safety relief valve to “pop-off” during each cycle. Newer “diaphragm” type tanks are recommended to replace the older style non-diaphgram expansion tanks. The newer diaphragm type tanks have a bladder to separate the air in the tank from the system water. The newer tanks are much less prone to flooding and offer excellant system expansion compensation.
