VARIABLE SPEED HOT WATER/DX AIR HANDLERS - R-410A

Aquatherm fan/coil units provide the advantages of efficient hydronic heating in combination with either conventional cooling or the heating/cooling capacities of a heat pump. Compatible with most major brands of outdoor equipment and all hydronic boilers and most oil or gas fired water heat- ers. The VHBQB features an integral cicrulator/control module, factory installed and pre-wired. Additional features include high efficiency cooling coil, separate hot water coil, horizontal drain pan, microprocessor, 24V transformer and factory installed TXV for R-410A refrigerant. These air handlers are shipped for upflow/horizontal left applications, but easily field convertible to horizon- tal right. These are not for counterflow application.

The VHBQB features self regulating constant airflow using a factory progammed variable speed motor, to maintain a predetermined level of airflow over a wide range of external static pressures, ensuring optimum system performance and whole house comfort. Benefits of constant airflow are consistent air distribution, better indoor air quality and better humidity control. The field wiring terminal block provides connection terminals for use with a standard dehumidistat. The fan coil will detect the dehumidistat contacts opening on increased humidity and reduce its airflow to approximately 80% of nominal cooling airflow. The result is an improved summer comfort level at a higher indoor temperature, saving energy.

Note: Use of third party (First Company) air handlers with outdoor units will not allow registration upgrades from the standard manufacturers warranty on the outdoor unit.
