Model 2250 is designed for installation where a single central return air duct is used. It is easily surface-mounted in the location normally occupied by the return air grille of the central heating/cooling system. It may be installed in the wall or ceiling, making it equally adaptable for use with closet or attic installations. The only visible part of the installed unit is the attrac- tive aluminum grille, which is hinge mounted and swings out for easy access to replaceable filter media. Provides 78.6 square feet of filtering surface.

The Aprilaire® model 2275 provides, high efficiency air cleaning in single room applications. Ideal for living rooms, family rooms, bedrooms, offices or waiting rooms. The key to Apri- laire’s outstanding efficiency is a quiet two-speed fan that moves up to 140 cubic feet of air per minute. It changes the air four times per hour in an average 16’ x 16’ room.

The heart of this air cleaner is the unique media that utilizes a combination of four filtering principles (straining, impingement, diffu- sion and interception) to effectively trap a wide range of particle types and sizes. The deep-fold design of this efficient media provides more than 10.8 square feet of filtering surface. Carpeting and upholstered furniture stay cleaner longer. Irritating pollutants like tobacco smoke, dust and pollen are removed and most importantly, the air is refreshingly clean. The replacement media actually increases in effi- ciency as it becomes dirty and usually needs replacing only twice a year depending on use. Electrical ratings: 120 volts, 0.6 amps, 60 Hz.

The Aprilaire 2600® Series air cleaner utilizes a unique filter media -- similar to that used successfully for years in hospitals, clinics, laboratories and clean rooms where the level of airborne particles must be kept near zero. The three-speed blower draws polluted air from the area through the extended-surface, high-ef- ficiency filter media and exhausts air that has up to 98% of the pollutant particles removed. Provides 78.6 square feet of filtering surface.

Model 2600 will handle up to 15,000 cubic feet of space. If tobacco smoke particulate removal is the prime consideration, one Model 2600 should be installed for every 25 smokers. In other applications, unit capacity will vary with type and volume of contaminants. There are no electric filtering components to malfunction, so there are no costly service problems. The only maintenance required is the filter media replacement.This air cleaner is easily ceiling-hung or shelf mounted. In either type installation, the unit is out of the way -- with no valuable floor space wasted. Electrical ratings: 120 volts, 60 Hz, 6.5 amps, 400 watts.
