Mounts in tank in vent line piping and sounds a clear whistle signal through the pipe during filling. When tank is filled to a safe level, signal stops. COMPRESSION UNIONS for Fuel Storage Tank Piping

In some instances, especially older basement tank installations, fill and vent piping may have been run from the tank to the termination point without threaded unions, creating a virtually permanent piping arrangement. If the tank needs to be replaced, the piping must either be completely disassembled from the termination point, or cut and rethreaded to include conventional unions. These compression unions offer a time-saving third method. Simply cut each pipe near the tank, posi- tion the new tank, and reconnect the piping using the correspond- ing size union. Requires no rethreading. Compression unions are not for underground storage tanks.

The Scully Unifil® system provides a quick-connect, leak proof connection for high-volume fuel delivery to storage tanks. Installs with no special tools to 1-1/4” 1-1/2” or 2” nominal fill piping; adapts with positive, leak proof seal to most competitive brand fuel nozzles.

FEMALE STRAIGHT ADAPTERS

This adapter replaces the pipe cap on standard male threaded fill pipes or exposed fill boxes which can easily be removed from the fill pipe. It is also available with the interior lugs removed
