COMPONENT SELECTION GUIDE for Fuel Storage Tank Installation Accessories

Use this handy chart to order an installation kit for most basement or above ground installations of a 275 gallon storage tank.

For Vertical Tanks:

4 8K001 Tank legs, 1-1/4 x 9” or 8K002 Tank legs, 1-1/4 x 12”

1 3K001 1/4” x 60’ roll “L” tubing or 3K002 3/8” x 60’ roll “L” tubing

1 8K247 Scully Combination Gauge & Ventalarm® or 8K231 Scully Gauge only

1 1K277 2 x 1-1/4” black pipe bushing (not needed if Gauge/Ventalarm is used) or 1K407 2” black pipe plug (needed only if Gauge/Ventalarm is used)

1 8K016 2” Flush Fill Box or 8K038 Locking Fill Box

1 8K071 1-1/4” Vent Cap

1 1K161 1-1/4 x 6” steel nipple 1 1K187 2 x 3” steel nipple (not needed if Locking Fill Box is used)

1 2M001 1A25A Fuel Filter (most residential & light commercial applications. See index for larger capacities)

For Horizontal Tanks: Same as Vertical Tank list except:

1 8K246 Scully Combination Gauge/Ventalarm® or 8K230 Scully Gauge only PLUS – TANK VALVES

For tank-mounted filter:

1 2K010 Valve 1 5K036 3/8” flare x 3/8” MPT Adapter 1 5K005 3/8” Flare Nut

For in-line filter:

1 2K001 Valve 2 5K036 3/8” flare x 3/8” FPT Adapter 2 5K005 3/8” Flare Nut
