Unlike mini-split systems that require unsightly and noisy installation of fan units hanging off of walls, the Unico System® 1218 can be completely con- cealed in a ceiling, basement, crawlway or closet. Air is moved through the Uni- co 2” small-duct system making it possible to have duct runs in spaces virtually inconceivable before. This one piece unit system makes installation a dream. It’s small, light, only 12” high and can be maneuvered through tight spaces like rafters. It is comfortably mounted in vertical or horizontal configurations with the hole cut for installation serving as the service access, as well as a return air vent for the unit. The Unico System® 1218 is fully insulated and built to deliver carefree comfort year round. Like other Unico Systems used in national monu-

ments, older homes, industrial applications, homes and offices with special architectural features, the Unico System® 1218 is perfect for spaces requiring 1 to 1-1/2 tons of heating and cooling while maintaining the integrity of the structure. Special features include stainless steel drain pan, thermal expansion valve control, anti-frost switch and permanently lubricated ball bearing motors. Cabinet is fully insu- lated galvanized steel. Approved for use with R410A refrigerant. Must use TXV recommended by manufacturer of outdoor unit.
