Ideal for use on heat pumps, electric furnaces, high-efficiency furnaces and furnaces using set-back thermostats. These types of heating systems do not operate long enough or generate the high level temperatures necessary for evaporative type humidifiers to work as effi- ciently as a steam type unit. The internal water temperature sensing device operates the fan, independent of a heating or cooling system. Because the Model 60 has its own heat source, it will effectively humidify a home regardless of the air temperature within the heating system, and it excellent for all humidification applications. Finest quality construction is used throughout. Installation package includes all adapters and mounting components for typical installation. Relay sometimes required for independent fan operation is not supplied. Comes complete with Skuttle® universal humidistat which can either be wall or duct mounted. Models F60-1 & F60-2 include auto- matic flush timer and chlorine removal filters. Dimensions: 6-7/8”H x 12-5/8”W x 12-1/2”D. Duct opening: 8”D x 10-1/2” W. These high-capacity bypass flow-thru humidifiers, engineered to accommodate lower furnace temperatures and shorter blower cycles, use the forced air evaporative principle to deliver high humidification output. Water continuously flows into the distribution pan where a specially designed wicking system disperses it evenly over the entire evaporator pad. Can be installed on either the return air or warm air plenum. Unique snap-lock fittings make this installation easy. The sleek thermoplastic cabinet is designed to fit today’s narrower plenums. Installation package includes universal humidistat, transformer, self-piercing saddle valve, summer damper and mounting hard- ware, and template. Electrical rating: 24 volts.
