The peak operating efficiency and top reliability you expect from an Ultimate boiler in a compact wet- base design. The Ultimate-Plus® boilers are engineered specifically to provide A.F.U.E. efficiencies of nearly 88% under normal or reduced draft conditions. These boilers offer BTUH capacities of 54,000 thru 324,000 and operate with most conventional chimney and venting system designs.

Rugged castings feature Ultimate’s special staggered thermal pin flue passages for maximum heat extraction and reduced stack temperatures. A high temperature fiber combustion chamber designed especially for the Ultimate-Plus® provides durability and quiet operation. Simple wing nut removal of the flue collector cover exposes the entire boiler block for easy and thorough cleaning. Model num- bers with “T” suffix are equipped with an oversize 6 gallons per minute tankless coil which is factory installed to supply a ready supply of domestic hot water. Boilers ship knocked down with block assembled.

Oil-Fired Models - Beckett flame retention oil burner, insulated steel jacket, pressure/temperature gauge, ASME relief valve, Taco circu- lator, aquastat relay and boiler drain. Riello also available as an option.

TYPE “L” VENTING MATERIALS

Type “B” vent pipe products for gas appliances is a generally well know venting type. Type “L” is similar pipe, constructed of different metals, for venting oil appliances. Type “L” is constructed with a stainless steel inner wall and a galvalume exterior jacket, or stainless steel exterior jacket. Type “L” vent is tested to UL641 for use with continuing operating flue temperatures of up to 580 F and max of 1700 F. The exterior diameter of type “L” pipe is only 3/4” larger than the interior flue size. This smaller diameter plus a 3” clearance to combustibles requirement makes “L” products usable all the way from the appliance flue outlet thru termination above the roof. Availability of smaller diameters than those associated with triple wall pipe make this the ideal vent material for connecting appliances to sidewall power venters.
