People use a variety of behaviours, such as head-nods, smiles, frowns, and laughter, to maintain a smooth flow of communication. Your students’ facial expressions provide you with some feedback on the session too. The posture of the group enables you to judge their general attitude and mood. Body language and effective communication is a huge subject, so try to be your natural self.
Communication difficulties between the Instructor and the student can sometimes occur for a number of reasons:

Remember that Instructors are communicating all the time. Their thoughts and emotions can often ‘leak’ out through our verbal and non-verbal communication. Instructors and Coaches should therefore:
