1. Helm bears away into hoist/drop zone, stays on windward side, and concentrates on keeping the boat flat and on course. Calls ‘Hoist spinnaker.’ 1. 舵⼿顺⻛偏转进⼊升降区,保持在上⻛侧,注意保持船的平稳,航线稳定。然后喊“升球帆”。
2. Crew sets jib and passes spinnaker sheet to helm, moves into middle of the boat, hoists spinnaker and bowsprit facing forward (some boats have separate systems. If so, deploy bowsprit first).

Power Control 动⼒控制
To deal with the additional power that the spinnaker generates in the ‘Power Zone’, the helm should take the following actions:
球帆在“动⼒区”会产⽣过多的动⼒,舵⼿应采取以下措施:
• If power increases, and causes heeling to leeward, without helm and crew sheeting out any of the sails, the helm should bear away swiftly to flatten the dinghy. It should be a positive and committed action
