A la Rencontre du Soleil is located at Bourg d’Oisans, near Grenoble and at the foot of the mountains, so is ideally situated for walkers and ramblers.

Markets are held in Bourg d’Oisans on Saturdays and Venosc on Tuesdays.

This friendly, traditional and well kept site has well marked out pitches, some with shade. A club house in the style of an Alpine chalet contains a salle de réunion and a games room on the first floor. Showers and separate washing cubicles are on the ground floor with separate blocks for men and women as well as a mixed section. Some evening entertainment and a children’s club are organised in high season. The site becomes very busy in the high season.

Horseriding and windsurfing are both available in the local area and many walks can be enjoyed in the mountains. Tours are organised by the local tourist office and reception will be happy to give you details.

Camping Belledone is a beautiful well-run and friendly site in the middle of nature, where the emphasis is put on personal service. The pitches, marked out by hedges, offer some shade and seclusion. The sanitary blocks on site contain laundry and dishwashing facilities, as well as chemical disposal points, individual washing cubicles and a mixture of WCs and continental toilets. There are two swimming and paddling pools, a tennis court, a TV room and a salle de réunion. During high season the site organises activities and occasional entertainment.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Maximum 1 dog per pitch. Access to pitches can be very difficult for large outfits.
