Camping des Iles is situated 2.5 miles/4km from Pénestin at La Pointe du Bile in southern Brittany. The site overlooks the sea and has direct access to the shoreline. Whilst sunbathing may be possible this is not an ideal location for swimming. However, there are pleasant, sandy beaches within easy walking or driving distance. Apart from the beaches in this area the local ports are worth a visit. Guérande and La Roche Bernard are interesting towns to explore and it is possible to take boat trips from Vannes around the local islands and the Golfe du Morbihan.
This is a lively, family site in an excellent location. The pitches vary in shape and are all clearly marked out by low hedges. A selection of sunny and shaded pitches is available. The unisex sanitary facilities are modern and immaculately kept. Entertainment is organised in high season including a children’s club every morning. The pool complex with flumes and a whirlpool is very popular.

Camping Domaine Le Bohat is located near Sarzeau, ideal for visits to the local beaches, with the nearest 3 miles/4.8km away. Carnac, Vannes and the beach at La Baule are well worth a visit. Boat trips in the Golfe du Morbihan and the many islands are popular; the site staff are able to make arrangements for you. Trips to the Château de Suscinio and the local zoo are also worthwhile.
This popular and busy site was taken over a few years by new owners who have added a new children’s pool and play area, as well as improving and renewing the facilities on site. The grassy pitches are clearly marked out and of a good size. The three sanitary blocks are kept clean and have individual sink cubicles. This site is ideal for families, particularly with young children as it provides entertainment (mainly in high season).
