Camping Jungfraublick is situated in the Bernese Oberland, near Interlaken, with its shops, casino and pleasant walks along the famous Hoheweg Avenue. Most visitors come for the walking, the views and easy access to public transport in Interlaken. It is also popular with sports enthusiasts, with paragliding, canyoning and rafting available from the centre adjacent to the site.
The campsite is fairly small and has picturesque views of the Jungfrau. The grassy pitches (80m2) are level, however shade is limited. The toilet blocks are clean with showers for which there is a charge. Members should note that in the high season the site is unable to accept requests for more than two caravans to be sited together. Camping Jungfraublick proves very popular with members who return year after year. Like some other sites in the area, the local tax, included in the prices, includes a pass for the free local bus service in the Interlaken area.
EXTRA COMMENT BBQs must be a minimum of 2 feet above the ground. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Camping Rheinwiese is situated in an idyllic location at Langwiesen on the banks of the River Rhine. The site is southeast of Schaffhausen, which is worth a visit to see the Renaissance and classical buildings, and for its shops and restaurants. The Rhine Falls are a few minutes drive to the south of the town and Lake Constance is not far to the east.
The unmarked, grassy pitches offer both sun and shade and the area between the pitches and the unfenced river has in the past been kept free for leisure purposes. However space per pitch is restricted. The site has one sanitary block which is kept clean, but no disabled facilities. There may be some road and rail noise. Evening entertainment in the form of music is occasionally organised, but the English-speaking staff aim for an atmosphere of peace and quiet. There is a large presence of static caravans on this site.
EXTRA COMMENT Pets are not permitted on site.
