This site is located at Villeneuve Loubet Plage, between Nice and Antibes. The beaches of the Côte d’Azur are nearby and Cannes, Grasse, St Paul de Vence and Monaco are all within easy reach for a day trip.

Camping La Vieille Ferme is a relatively small family-run site with a friendly feel. Pitches vary in size but all are clearly marked out with easy access. There are three well maintained sanitary blocks, two of which are heated during the winter. The swimming pool has a retractable roof and the site is open throughout the year, making it ideal for members wishing to explore this area out of season. This is a quiet site with little organised activity. A busy road without pavements and railway line are situated between the site and the beach, so access can be difficult. The use of barbecues (electric and gas only) may be restricted in case of drought.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Beach is a short drive away. The pool is closed between 12.00 and 14.00. Wrist bands are required to use the pool, these are issued free of charge.

Situated near St Tropez and alongside the river leading to the sea, this site provides a base for visiting the Côte d’Azur or even as far as Monaco or the Gorges du Verdon. The sandy beach is about 0.5 miles/0.8km walk away through Port Grimaud.

Club pitches on this English-owned site have private shower/WC facilities on every pitch with safety deposit boxes and 20 amp electric hookups. The average L-shaped pitch size is 75m2 – access can be difficult for large outfits with awnings, cars are parked in specified areas away from pitches. There are many statics on site and some noise has been reported from the coastal road. Visitors use their site card for the barrier, access to the pool and can credit it with money to use at the snack bar or restaurant to avoid carrying cash. A children’s club and evening entertainment is organised in July-August. Please do not arrive between 12.30 and 14.00.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 not permitted. Dogs in category 2 must be muzzled. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. A €50 deposit is required against damage for the private bathrooms.
