St Malo, Mont St Michel and Rennes are all within reach for a day trip and members may like to consider a day trip by ferry to the Channel Islands.

This large, busy, commercial site is set in the well-kept grounds of a 16th century château with lakes and woods. There are many activities available ranging from horseriding to pedaloes and the site has its own golf course, cricket ground, tropical aqua complex, rock-climbing wall and treetop adventure playground! This site operates a cash free system. The pitches are flat and grassy and are all clearly marked out. The eight sanitary blocks are spread out over the site and kept very clean. During high season the site organises regular entertainment, including bingo, quizzes and concerts.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Maximum 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Situated between Roscoff and St Malo, in the town of Etables sur Mer, this site is ideally situated for discovering Northern Brittany. Sandy beaches are within walking distance and the beautiful Pink Granite Coast and Mont St Michel make ideal days out. Daily boat trips run from St Quay (April – mid Sept) to the Ile de Bréhat, a beautiful traffic-free island off Paimpol.

This site is set in the grounds of a former château and some of the spacious, grassy pitches are located in the old kitchen garden. A small road runs between the two sections of the site, each with sanitary blocks, one of which is heated in low season. Some entertainment is organised during the high season, such as discos and karaoke but this site is quiet at other times. The local beach is supervised in high season due to strong currents.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in category 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Only breathable groundsheets may be used. No arrivals after 22:00.
