Situated in the small village of Landevieille, about 3 miles/4.8km from the seaside resort of Brétignolles-sur-Mer, this site provides members with the ideal base for a sun, sea and sand holiday. The larger town of Les Sables d’Olonne and the harbour of St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie are near enough for a day trip and you may also like to visit the Ile d’Yeu and the Château d’Apremont.
Despite its unusual name, Camping Pong is a pleasant campsite that has been developed over the past 20 years. It is ideal for families and runs a children’s club twice a week in high season. The spacious pitches are all well established and many offer a degree of shade. A new building houses the reception, bar and shop. Caravans/motorcaravans over 7m in length will be allocated the larger pitches, but members with smaller caravans can, of course, request them.
EXTRA COMMENT Bring your own table tennis bats! Dogs in category 1 not permitted. Dogs in category 2 must be muzzled. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details.

Located in Vaux-sur-Mer near the coastal resorts of Royan and St Palais-sur-Mer, Camping Val Vert makes a good base for visiting the nearby beaches and seafood restaurants that make this area so popular.
This medium-sized, family-run site is very well maintained and offers hedged grassy pitches of a good size. There are three sanitary blocks which are unisex and have excellent facilities for disabled guests. A stream runs alongside the site and there is also a heated swimming pool. Full information on what to do in the area is available from reception. Some entertainment is organised in high season but members particularly enjoy the peace and quiet in low season.
EXTRA COMMENT Access to pitches for large outfits in high season can be difficult. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Dogs and cats must be kept on a lead at all times.
