Camping Le Parc des Cygnes is located on the outskirts of Amiens in the heart of the Picardy region, half way between Calais and Paris. The

magnificent Cathedral of Amiens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and deserves a visit. In the heart of Amiens, Les Hortillonages, also called the “Floating Gardens” is a nature reserve of 300 hectares including gardens, marshes and small narrow canals. The area can only be accessed by boat (barge) or by foot. Paris is 80 miles/129km away and would make an interesting day out.

Camping le Parc des Cygnes is located in beautiful natural surroundings and is the ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It has large grassy pitches, delimited by small hedges and young shrubs, so there is not much shade. The site has an open plan feel and is very well maintained. There are three modern toilet blocks on site, which are kept very clean. Many activities are available from the adjacent leisure park. Road noise has been reported in the past. Bread and croissants can be ordered daily at reception.

EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must be kept away from children’s play areas.

Camping Le Clos Cacheleux is situated only 5 miles/8km from Abbeville and only 7 miles/11km from the Bay of the Somme on the northern coast of

France. Visits to the local medieval towns and villages such as St Valery sur Somme or Port Le Crotoy are recommended as are sites such as the cathedral at Amiens and the gardens at the Valloires Abbey.

This delightful campsite has generously sized grassy pitches (230-250m2) which are marked out by small hedges and easy to access. The sanitary blocks are well equipped and kept exceptionally clean. The site shares many of its facilities of its sister site Le Val de Trie, located just 50m away across a road. Here guests will find the usual services as well as a children’s club in high season and some evening entertainment. This allows the site to retain a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, whilst still being located close to the usual facilities and activities. Walks in the area and bird watching are also amongst the activities organised on site and there is a bird festival on site from 16/04 to 25/04.

EXTRA COMMENT Refrigerators are available for hire from the site reception.
