The site is at Bonnac La Côte, just north of Limoges and well situated for a short break on the way south, as it is not far from the A20
and N147. It is also a good base for longer stays in the Limousin region. The well known porcelain manufacturers of the area and Futuroscope are within easy reach for a day trip.
Camping Château de Leychoisier is a relatively small, attractive site set in the grounds of a château where members are welcome to wander around the estate. The pitches are large, shady and clearly marked out. There is one central toilet block with limited older style, clean facilities. The site has a restaurant serving local specialities, a bar located in a converted barn and a small basic shop. This is an ideal site for a holiday in a quiet location.
EXTRA COMMENT Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

The Château de Poinsouze is located in the Creuse département, which is part of the Limousin region. Just over 100 miles/160km
south of the Loire river, it is known for the Aubusson carpet factory situated a little further south and is an area of rolling hills intersected by the River Creuse and its tributaries.
Set in the heart of rural France, this beautiful family-run site is set in the gently sloping grounds of a medieval château amongst oak woods. An ideal base for those wanting peace and quiet, it is particularly popular with walkers, golfers and families with young children. Various activities are organised in high season, alongside the opportunity to play volleyball, badminton and basketball. Children are required to wear colour-coded bracelets to use the pool, for which there is a small deposit.
EXTRA COMMENT No pets permitted in high season. In low season dogs must be on a lead at all times. Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Wedges are recommended as many pitches are sloping.
