Camping Cabopino is just over 8 miles/14km from the resort of Marbella with its beaches, restaurants and bars. The site is only a few yards from a beautiful sandy beach and is set amongst pine woodland. The area offers many activities for the whole family including watersports and golf. Visits to Gibraltar, Seville and Granda are also possible either with the site or independently.
This is a busy site and is the ideal base for an active family holiday. It offers good facilities such as an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a bar and two restaurants (Indian and Italian). Entertainment is organised throughout the year. Marbella is easily accessible from the site with a short bus ride, and a trip to Gibraltar can be organised by the reception staff. Pitches are on average 80m2, which could make access difficult for some larger outfits.
EXTRA COMMENT There is a supplement for pup tents payable direct to the site. This site is also available to book during the winter months via our 2011/12 Winter Escapes brochure.

Situated in Catalonia, adjacent to the Mediterranean with its fine sandy beaches and against a backdrop of the Pyrénées whilst not far from the border with France, is the first class site Camping L’Amfora. A beautiful base for visiting Barcelona, the Aiguamolls de l’Emporda Nature Park to see the local flora and fauna, the Greco-Roman ruins at Empùries or just staying on the site to enjoy the four pools, the 4 mile/6km long beach and the sports and entertainment. The sea is calm and warm in summer, although there is windsurfing nearby for those wanting to be more active.
Whilst there is some shade, the trees and hedges on site are not large, so the fair-sized pitches on this well-managed family-run site are sunny. There are cycle and pedestrian routes around the site and the locality. The site organises kids clubs for the younger members of the family, and entertainment and dancing in the evening for everyone. The excellent sanitary facilities are kept clean and many members return every year to enjoy this popular site.
EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 & 2 must be muzzled. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details.
