Ferry bookings where you are taking your pets cannot be made via the website. Site charges for pets should be paid direct to the sites on arrival. Where possible we have included this information in the site description.

Whilst it is possible for dogs to travel to and from mainland Europe without quarantine restrictions, there are still regulations regarding the importation of certain breeds of dog into France. Those in Category 1 are prohibited entry and these include Staffordshire Terriers, Pitbulls, Mastiffs and Tosas. Category 2 are classified as guard dogs which can only be imported under certain restrictions, such as some of the above breeds

or rottweilers with pedigrees. Sites in other countries also have specific regulations; if there is any doubt, please speak to our Travel Service Information Officer on 01342 336766.

Please check the necessary legislation and vaccination requirements before travelling and be prepared to present the documentary evidence of vaccinations on arrival at the site. MOVING OFF CAMPSITES If you are unhappy or have a site related problem with a prebooked site, then you should first endeavour to resolve matters with the local management. If this is unsuccessful, then you should contact the Travel Service at East Grinstead during office hours on 01342 316101 (9.00 – 17.30 Monday to Friday) or in extreme cases telephone 01342 336606 outside of these times to enable us to attempt to arrive at a satisfactory solution whilst you are on site. We will endeavour to help where possible, however, please remember that sites overseas are different to those in the UK and do not have to conform to UK legislation and rules. (See also page 174 and Booking Conditions pages 181-183 paragraph 10.)

SITE RULES All sites have their own rules and regulations which must be adhered to by all guests. These can sometimes include such things as the times at which vehicles are permitted to enter or leave the site or swimming pool restrictions and members are advised to acquaint themselves with these on arrival.
