The site is in Redcross Village, County Wicklow, 4 miles/6.4km from Brittas Bay, one of the best beaches in Ireland and only 36 miles/57.9km from Dublin. It is within easy reach of many of Ireland’s most popular attractions including the Vale of Avoca (Ballykissangel country), the Motte Stone and Mount Usher Gardens. There is a choice of five golf courses within 20 miles/32km of the site and for walkers Wicklow offers challenging hills and granite mountains, riverbanks and long sandy beaches. The sea fishing is also excellent.

This is a family-run campsite, very popular with Club members, and with no shortage of activities. In high season the site organises a children’s disco, football and an evening showing of a film. Music is provided in the bar at weekends. The two main toilet blocks (including pay showers) are modern and well equipped. There are hardstanding and grassy pitches on site and some mobile homes.

EXTRA COMMENT There is a supplement for pup tents, payable direct to site. Dogs are permitted in low season, but in high season they are only permitted in the couples area. They must also be kept on a lead at all times.
