This site is situated 1.5 miles/2.4km from the town of Brissac-Quincé, which has one of the many châteaux in this area. The town of Angers is a

short drive away, where members can see the château housing beautiful tapestries and also visit the Cointreau factory for a guided tour and tasting! When not exploring the region of Maine et Loire, members staying here have access to the leisure park opposite the campsite at a preferential rate.

Camping de L’Etang is the sister site of Camping Chantepie (L06) and has been developed in recent years in the grounds of an old farm, giving employment to young people with disabilities. It is in the heart of the Anjou vineyards and produces Anjou wine on site. This well-planned site has flat and grassypitches, which are clearly marked out by trees and hedges and with good access. During the high season there is a children's club on site and some evening entertainment is also organised.

EXTRA COMMENT There is a small lake on site from where it is possible to fish. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Located in Gigny-sur-Saône, not far from Sennecey Le Grand, the site is a short distance from the Autoroute du Soleil (A6/A7) making it an ideal stopover en route to the south of France. Situated in Burgundy, there are many châteaux, caves and museums to visit.

Château de l’Epervière is a well organised site, situated in the shady park grounds of a 16th century château, which also serves as a good restaurant. The site has large grassy pitches, most of which are clearly defined with easy access, including a selection of hard standing pitches. There is a fishing lake with pitches around, whilst a second more open section surrounds a paddling pool, making it popular with families, but parental supervision is essential. There is a small indoor pool; a larger outdoor pool is situated near the château, away from the pitches. Activities are organised throughout the season with emphasis on family entertainment.

EXTRA COMMENT No more than 2 families travelling together. Dogs from categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
