Camping Fornella, at San Felice del Benaco, has direct access to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Whilst you may be happy to spend all your time in these beautiful surroundings, day trips to Venice, Verona and Florence and the Isola del Garda are also possible, as is an excursion into the Dolomites. Throughout the season the site organises coach trips with English speaking guides to these destinations.
The site is set on a hill with terraced pitches offering some shade and good views. As with most Italian campsites, pitches may be tight for larger outfits (approx 65m2), especially in high season when the site can be busy, although the site has a few larger pitches available at a supplement on request in low season. This is a family-run campsite with two recently modernised children’s play areas and a very popular swimming pool with a lagoon, a jacuzzi area, water-games and infant pool. There is some entertainment in high season, such as live music at the bar.
EXTRA COMMENT Dogs not permitted on beach and must be kept on a lead at all times. No arrivals after 23.00 hours. Twin axles are on request all season.

This site is set on the River Mera as it joins Lake Como at Sorico, with direct access to a small riverside/lakeside beach. There is a cycle/pedestrian path to the nearby village of Sorico, which has several bars and restaurants, and further cycle paths alongside the lake. This small, quiet site is ideally placed for touring the beautiful Lake Como area with its pretty lakeside towns, and also for day trips to Milan or even to St Moritz in Switzerland. The emphasis on this family-run site is on peace and relaxation.
The owners of Camping La Riva are renowned for their warm welcome and their pride in their relatively small, but well kept site in a breathtaking position. The toilet blocks are kept very clean, with tokens required to use the showers. The grassy pitches, average size 80m2, are marked out by trees and there are good views of the mountains and across the river. There is little entertainment organised in high season.
EXTRA COMMENT No credit or debit cards are accepted on this site. Dogs must be kept on a lead or muzzled at all times.
