The site is 5 miles/8km from Nijmegen and ideally placed for visits to local attractions, including the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem, the Liberation Museum in Groesbeek, the Royal Palace Het Loo at Apeldoorn, the Burgers Safari Park and trips to the National Park of Hoege Veluwe and over the border into Germany.
This is a large family-run site with excellent facilities and 165 touring pitches sheltered by trees, however, it is not always possible to park a car next to a caravan. Other pitches in a separate area have statics. The modern sanitary blocks have WCs, pay showers (€0.50) and facilities for babies and the disabled. The heated swimming pool includes a small jacuzzi. The site also has a heated children’s pool, boules court, and tennis court. There is a children’s club during the high season and evening entertainment, such as bingo, campfires and karaoke, may be organised.

Situated at Rijnsburg, close to Leiden, the site is well placed for visits to Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the bulbfields to the north. Weekly bus trips to Amsterdam and surrounding areas are organised. Excellent beaches are nearby at Katwijk and Noordwijk Aan Zee. There is also an extensive network of cycle tracks for any outdoor enthusiasts.
This attractive site has flat, grassy pitches separated by hedges with pitches on average 80m2, which although small in size do not give an impression of overcrowding due to the way the site is subdivided. Parking is not always possible on your pitch. There are two modern sanitary facilities, and disabled facilities are available opposite the reception. Meals are served in the Old Dutch Tavern, which has existed for over 25 years and is a converted cow shed! Entertainment is organised in high season for all the family and there is a high standard of facilities available.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 1 dog per pitch.
