Camping Le Ch’timi is situated on the River Lot, close to the village of Touzac and only a short drive from the picturesque town of Puy L'Evêque. It is perfectly placed for discovering the Lot area with its spectacular scenery, vineyards, bastide (fortified) towns, caves and prehistoric sites. The river is within walking distance of the site, down steep steps, providing a source for many kinds of watersports.
This site is a busy Dutch-run site in a delightful area. The pitches are grassy, with a choice of sun or shade and are clearly marked out, although access to some may be difficult for larger outfits and motorhomes. The sanitary block is clean and of modern style, however, it may be stretched in high season. During high season the site is busy with a varied programme of entertainment, including quizzes and shows. There is also a children’s club during the peak season and just ask at the office for details of sports available. Excursions can also be booked through the site to do activities such as canoe trips, cycle rides and wine tasting.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Situated close to Sauveterre La Lémance near Fumel, the site is a good base for exploring the countryside and castles of the Périgord Noir to the north and the Lot valley with its Cahors wines and caves to the south.
The site is set in the grounds of an old mill, with the reception, bar and restaurant in the converted granary. Many of the facilities on site, including the sanitary blocks, are dated but kept clean. The pitches, which are marked out by hedges, give a choice of sun or shade. Activities are arranged and conducted with consideration for others, not intruding on those who do not wish to take part. The owners, who are renowned for their warm welcome and friendliness, place the emphasis on peace and quiet. Evening meals are organised by the site owners so that guests can taste and enjoy the regional cuisine. Mixed reports have been received for this site in 2010.
EXTRA COMMENT Entrance to site is very narrow between high hedgerows. Large outfits can enter via the first road on the left.
