Camping Solitudo is located on the outskirts of Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic. Despite significant damage during the early 1990s, the beautiful city of Dubrovnik has now been restored to its former glory and a regular bus service runs into the city centre from just outside the site. Solitudo is situated on a large headland known as Babin Kuk together with a group of hotels all owned by the same company. All the facilities of each of these hotels, including the swimming pools, are available to the campers on Solitudo. In addition, there is a shingle beach overlooking the Adriatic within a 5 minute walk of the site.
This site is considered to be one of the best in the area and has four fields currently in use, with one well maintained central sanitary block serving all four. Pitches are dry and can be rocky and are approximately 90m2. Whilst the site places emphasis on peace and quiet, they do organise a number of excursions to nearby attractions including the Three Island Cruise, canoe safaris, and tours of Dubrovnik.
EXTRA COMMENT Some of the terrain is uneven and members should take levelling blocks with them. Only closed BBQs are allowed.

Camp Galeb is situated on the outskirts of Omiš, where the emerald green Cetina River meets the Adriatic Sea. The site is perfect for a beach holiday, or for more active holidays there is white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking in the area. It is also an ideal base for exploring the Dalmatia region, with its archipelago of islands and beautiful hinterlands and is only around 16 miles/ 25km south-east of Split, Croatia’s second largest city. Not to be missed is the 10th century Church of St Peter on the banks of the Cetina and the Mirabella and Fortica fortresses on the cliffs above the town of Omiš.
The site is situated on the coast, with all of the pitches within walking distance of the sandy beach. Poplar, birch and lime trees provide shelter for the numbered pitches. The sanitary blocks are kept clean and private bathrooms can be rented for a supplement, payable direct to the site. The site offers excursions to places of interest, including the Krka National Park and Dubrovnik, just ask at reception for further details. A children’s club is also run in high season includes a mini disco and swimming school.
