On the Costa Dorada, 10 miles/16km from Salou and 4.5 miles/7.5km from the fishing port of Cambrils, the site is ideal for a sun, sea and sand holiday. You can walk along the beach to Cambrils from the site and Tarragona also makes an interesting day out. Or why not try some of the excellent sea food and regional specialities from the area in the local restaurants.

This is a large, attractively designed site with sandy pitches mostly 80m2, set in lanes offering some shade with direct access to the small beach. Access to pitches can be difficult for large outfits due to trees and narrow access roads within the site. The sanitary blocks offer good modern facilities, which are kept very clean. An entertainment team organises activities through the season, with aerobic and aquagym classes, petanque, Roman nights, mini-club, to name but a few. In high season, there are live shows twice a week. Please note that TV and radio can only be used inside caravans/motor homes. This site is very busy in high season, and some road and rail noise has been reported, particularly at this time.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs/cats are not permitted on site.

We are pleased to be able to offer this popular, well laid out site located at La Manga del Mar Menor, south of Alicante on the Costa Calida. The site has direct access to the sandy beach and shallow, warm waters of the Mar Menor. The Natural Park of Calblanque and the historic cities of Cartagena, Lorca and Murcia are within easy reach. Markets are held locally most days of the week.

Caravaning La Manga is a large site which is popular all year round. Touring pitches are average 84m2 and marked out by hedges. The 17 sanitary blocks (9 of which are in the touring area) are clean with disabled facilities in two blocks. Many sports facilities are available on site including a heated indoor pool, gym and sauna (open October-March) and outdoor pool (open at other times). In high season there is a children's club, outdoor cinema and evening entertainment. Excursions can also be booked via the site reception. There is a large presence of statics on site.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs must be on a lead at all times and there is a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. This site is also available to book during the winter months via our 2011/12 Winter Escapes brochure.
