Camping Port La Chaîne is situated at Pleubian, about 11 miles/19km from Paimpol. This coastal site is ideal for watersports, having direct access to a pebble beach, with other beaches within easy reach. This remote area of northern Brittany is perfect for those members wishing to get away from it all. Tréguier is nearby while the towns of St Brieuc and Guingamp make interesting days out. Boat trips around the nearby islands and even to the Channel Islands are possible.
The site places great emphasis on the flowers and shrubs that are in full bloom during high season. This is therefore an ideal site for nature lovers and those seeking a sun, sand and sea holiday in a beautiful setting. For those with a love of watersports there is a launching ramp and boat moorings available from the site. Most of the grassy pitches are of a good size, and some have sea views. There are two toilet blocks, both of which have been completely refurbished to a high standard and are kept very clean. The site has a heated outdoor pool, an open air gym facility on grass and occasional entertainment is organised in high season.
EXTRA COMMENT Some statics present on site. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

The site is situated on the outskirts of the attractive fishing port of Concarneau. Members may enjoy visiting the Ville Close in the medieval part of town. Pont Aven is nearby and the seaside town of Bénodet is also within easy reach. Boat trips can be taken around the bay whilst a trip to Quimper makes an interesting day out.
This family-run site has beautiful views over the bay and a small path runs directly to a sandy cove below. The emphasis is on peace and quiet, but it can become busy in high season. Although this is an old fashioned site with very few facilities, the pitches are of a good size, grassy and clearly marked, some within hedges. A number of trees have recently been cut down to improve the sea views and give the site a more spacious feel. There is also a limited number of large pitches available on request with a supplement payable directly to the site. Sanitary blocks are clean but have no disabled facilities. Members report that this site is particularly quiet in low season.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
