The site lies in a valley near the Gorges du Tarn and the Cévennes National Park. The scenery is dramatic with deep river gorges, rocky outcrops and caves. Be sure to visit the Roquefort cheese caves, the Cirque de Navacelles and the grottoes of Aven Armand and Dargilan. The site is less than a mile away from the beautiful town of Millau, famous for its high road bridge.

Les Rivages is a pleasant, well laid out site, with level and mostly shaded pitches. There are four main modern toilet/shower blocks which are kept clean. An adjoining leisure complex offers tennis and squash courts (open to the public), a solarium, two swimming pools, a bar/restaurant area plus a self-service shop – facilities exclusive to the site. Fishing is possible in the river and gravel ‘beaches’ provide an opportunity for swimming, sunbathing and canoeing. Activities and entertainment are organised in high season. This is a popular site for families.

EXTRA COMMENT Pool bracelet required. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

The site itself has large pitches marked out by hedges, some of which offer partial shade. The five sanitary blocks on site are all modern and clean and include disabled facilities. Camping Les Mimosas boasts an attractive pool complex providing excellent swimming facilities and in high season there is also a children’s club and evening entertainment, dances and musical shows organised on site.

EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for more details. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Long electric cables are required for some pitches.
