Pyrénées Natura is located in Estaing, on the edge of a National Park at an altitude of 1000m. This small site is a nature lover’s dream, with the emphasis on peace and quiet, together with comfortable facilities. Ideal for young families and as a base for walkers and birdwatchers. This site is within reach of interesting excursions.
A truly beautiful site, Pyrénées Natura has clearly marked out grassy pitches in a spectacular setting. The site is geared up to revive guests on their return from a hard day’s walking, with a lounge and bar area, sauna, sound-proof stereo room and infra- red and ultra-violet beds to relieve aching muscles. There are two well-maintained and clean toilet blocks. There is also a binocular area where it is possible to view eagles and vultures. The site organises several guided walks by night and holds video evenings about the Pyrénées National Park.
EXTRA COMMENT Only breathable groundsheets to be used in awnings. Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Dogs and cats must be kept on a lead and walked off site.

Situated on the outskirts of Tarascon-sur- Ariège in the Pyrénées, Le Pré Lombard is a shaded site, which runs along the side of a fast flowing river. The site is a good base for exploring the area with plenty of activities nearby including canyoning, climbing, mountain trekking and kayaking. For the less adventurous Andorra is not far away, and it is possible to visit the prehistoric sites at Niaux and Bédeilhac as well as the Cathar Castles at Montségur.
The campsite has shady, grassy pitches of average size which are marked out by trees and hedges. Sanitary blocks are unusual in style but well maintained. The site organises a programme of entertainment in high season including craft workshops, games, tournaments, dance nights and cabaret shows. There are also children’s activities in high season and excursions to local places of interest are organised from the site reception.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 are not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details.
