Ma Prairie is situated in an area adjacent to some private housing 2 miles/3.2km from the fine sandy beach of Canet Plage, near the Spanish border town of Figueras, closely associated with Salvador Dali. Places to visit include Andorra, many old villages and châteaux. There are guided walks around Perpignan, where there is a daily market.
Most pitches in this family-run site are level, grassy and offer shade. The three refurbished sanitary blocks are clean, with individual washing cubicles, showers, WCs and continental toilets. The site is well run, with a peaceful atmosphere, but some traffic noise can be heard at the perimeter of the site. The main camping area is separated by a small road from the clubhouse and other facilities to minimise disturbance. Details of organised entertainments and excursions, including sports competitions for children, are provided for guests each week. The site's restaurant also offers a range of regional specialities.
EXTRA COMMENT Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Maximum 1 pet per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. BBQs may be restricted in extreme weather conditions. Pitches with electricity, water and drainage can be requested for an extra supplement.

The site is near Quissac in the Cévennes foothills and centred around a 15th century farmhouse. The site is 15 miles/24km away from the Roman remains at Nîmes. The Cévennes National Park and the beautiful Camargue area are both well worth a visit.
Camping le Mas de Reilhe is a relatively small, terraced site with average size pitches which are mostly shady. Activities are not usually organised after 22.00 to ensure a relaxing holiday. The refurbished, heated sanitary facilities, which include individual washing cubicles, are kept clean but may be stretched in high season. Wine-tasting is possible at the adjacent vineyard. The site entrance is on a bend so care is needed on approach and when leaving. Members have reported some road noise.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 2 pets per pitch. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details. The use of BBQs may be restricted in certain weather conditions such as drought. Twin axle caravans are not accepted all season.
