Less than a mile/1.6km from the small town of Brétignolles sur Mer, between Les Sables d’Olonne and St Gilles Croix de Vie, Camping La Trévillière belongs to the Chadotel chain of sites and is a useful base for exploring the nearby beaches, fishing ports, wine cellars and saltmarshes.
The site has pitches that are mostly of a good size and three sanitary blocks. An area with larger, unshaded pitches has recently been added. There is a large pool with waterslide which is located next to the bar and terrace and there is also a well-equipped play area for children. This is a commercial site and there is some night entertainment in high season, but members report that this site is particularly quiet in low season.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 1 dog per pitch. Dogs in categories 1 & 2 are not permitted. Please see pages 10 & 11 for further details.

The site is in St Just-Luzac, near Marennes, the centre of oyster farming and within easy reach of the Atlantic Coast and the
Ile d’Oléron. Royan and La Rochelle are close enough for a day trip with the Cognac vineyards about 40 miles/65km away.
The campsite was started in 1997 in the grounds of the Château La Josephtrie. Many of the original château buildings have been converted to house the facilities including the bar, restaurant and shop. Most of the pitches are of a good size, but some vary in shape. There are three toilet blocks which are kept clean. The site offers many activities with a children’s club provided for younger members of the family. The aqua park, which has recently been redesigned, now includes four pools, waterslides, waterjets and a whirlpool and has proven to be very popular.
EXTRA COMMENT Maximum 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. This campsite charges €25.00 per booking to guarantee pitches together. Members who want to guarantee pitches together must contact the site directly, with their Caravan Club booking reference.
