DAY 1 UK to Palma Fly to Palma and transfer to your adult- only hotel in Cala Mayor, which is home to the Marivent Palace, the summer residence of the Spanish Royal Family.
Your hotel is situated right on the seafront, so once you’ve settled in, why not head out for a stroll. The beach is a wide curve of golden sand with enticing calm waters.
This evening we’ll get to know one another better over a welcome drink before dinner.
DAY 2 Sóller & the west coast Today we travel by coach to Port de Soller via the West Coast, which offers stunning coastal scenery and beautiful villages.
There’s free time for lunch at Port de Soller before we take the tram to Soller. After a short visit here, we then take the vintage narrow-gauge railway train

to Son Reus before travelling by coach back to our hotel.
DAY 3 Cala Mayor Spend a day at leisure in Cala Mayor. Lapped by gentle waters, the resort’s lovely beach is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun.
DAY 4 La Granja & Binissalem You’re free to explore at your own pace today or maybe you’ll join our optional excursion to La Granja and Binissalem. We’ll begin by visiting La Granja, a country house which dates mostly from the 17th century. We’ll enjoy a tour and learn about rural Mallorcan traditions, before continuing on to Binissalem.
This traditional town is at the centre of Mallorca’s winemaking industry and a number of high-quality varieties are produced in the region, including Manto Negro reds and Moll – or Prensal Blanc – whites. We’ll visit a nearby bodega to find out more and enjoy a tasting.

8 days from £1299 Lazy days on a sun-soaked beach in Cala Mayor is what this holiday is all about. If you can manage to tear yourself away, we include a journey into the hills aboard a vintage train and a visit to the delightful little town of Puerto Pollensa.

DAY 5 Cala Mayor Today has been left free for you to relax in Cala Mayor. Perhaps relax by the swimming pool, or you could take the local bus to nearby Palma with your travelling companions to enjoy a spot of shopping and sightseeing at your own pace.
DAY 6 Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa & Formentor After breakfast, we’ll set off on an included excursion. Our first stop is Mallorca’s oldest city, Alcudia, where there will be free time for shopping in the street market. We then continue to Pollensa, an old Mallorcan town nestled between two hills in the north of the island. We’ll discover its highlights on a guided walking tour and then head to Cala Sant Vicenc, a resort boasting one of the best beaches on the island. There will be time for a coffee in one of the enticing cafés here before we arrive in Formentor, one of the most beautiful places on the island. Its white-sand beach is washed by sparkling turquoise waters and set against a backdrop of pine forest.
We continue by coach to Puerto Pollensa, but if you prefer you can make your own way there by ferry. There’ll be plenty of time to explore with your fellow travellers before we return to the hotel.
DAY 7 Valldemossa Enjoy another day at leisure or join your Tour Manager on an optional excursion to Valldemossa. Described as one of the prettiest villages on the island, its most famous landmark is the Carthusian monastery, where composer Frederic Chopin and writer George Sand spent the winter of 1838-39. We’ll visit the monastery’s cells and see the ancient pharmacy, before listening to some of Chopin’s music in the nearby Palace of King Sancho. Afterwards there will be time to explore Valldemossa’s narrow streets and alleyways. We’ll return to our hotel this afternoon.
This evening we’ll gather for a farewell drink and dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
DAY 8 Palma to UK After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airport for our flight back to the UK.
