DAY 2 Venice Venice, an extraordinary city of canals, palaces and Renaissance architecture, is celebrated the world over. St Mark’s Square is the focal point of the city and the place to discover the Basilica di San Marco and the soaring Campanile. The photogenic Rialto Bridge is the main crossing over the Grand Canal, while
the magnificent Doge’s Palace offers a fascinating insight into the city’s history. Explore all of these sights and more in the company of a Local Guide.

DAY 3 Bologna Tuscany’s rolling hills lead us to Bologna. Featuring lavish squares and porticoed walkways, the city is also known for its food, as ragù, or Bolognese sauce, originated here. We

DAY 4 Florence Florence is known as Italy’s ‘Art City’. It is home to works by great masters such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Built beside the River Arno, the city’s compact historic centre can be easily explored on your included excursion today. Stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, climb the steps of the Duomo and admire glorious works of art among the Renaissance streets and piazzas. HOTEL TETTUCCIO, MONTECATINI TERME (4-STAR)
DAY 5 Pisa Today is free for you to enjoy as you wish or join our three-quarter day excursion to Pisa. HOTEL TETTUCCIO, MONTECATINI TERME (4-STAR)
DAY 6 Siena The medieval town of Siena is an enchanting place to explore and we will stop here today on our way to Rome. HOTEL RAGANELLI, ROME (4-STAR)
DAY 7 Rome Rome is bursting with history and world-famous landmarks. On our tour of the city we will call at many of its well-known locations, including the magnificent Colosseum, the largest Roman amphitheatre to have ever existed, St Peter’s Square and the Vatican City – the world’s smallest independent state. We’ll also take in the Spanish Steps, which were designed in the 18th century and join the Piazza di Spagna with the church of Trinita dei Monti, and we’ll see the famous Trevi Fountain, a Baroque artwork considered to be the city’s most beautiful fountain.
