DAY 1 UK to Palermo You’ll fly to Palermo today and transfer to the resort town of Campofelice di Roccella on Sicily’s northern coast. Before dinner this evening, gather with your travelling companions for a welcome drink.
DAY 2 Campofelice di Roccella With its stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters, Sicily is the perfect place to escape the stresses of everyday life. The island – Italy’s largest – also boasts a wealth of historic and cultural highlights, making it even more alluring.
Spend a free day exploring at your own pace and enjoying the excellent facilities at your hotel, which include a choice of pools, a wellness centre and private beach. Later this afternoon you could choose to take the hotel shuttle to the nearby fishing port of Cefalù. In the company of your travelling companions, discover the town’s winding medieval
streets, its sandy beaches and fine Norman cathedral.
DAY 3 Unknown Sicily Join your Tour Manager for today’s ‘unknown Sicily’ tour, which begins with a visit to the village of Gibilmanna. Situated high on a hill, we’ll enjoy sensational views and there will be plenty of time to explore with your travelling companions. Perhaps you’ll admire the Sanctuary at Gibilmanna, with its ornate baroque alter.
Next we’ll head to the medieval town of Castelbuono. If you wish, you can enjoy lunch with your fellow travellers and then maybe explore the medieval Ventimiglia Castle.
DAY 4 Palermo & Monreale Palermo is Sicily’s UNESCO-listed capital and we’ll explore it in the company of a Local Guide today. The city boasts a wealth of architecture – ranging in style from Arabic to Art Nouveau – and our sightseeing tour

will introduce us to its many highlights. We’ll see the magnificent cathedral and the stunning Cappella Palatine chapel, whose walls emit a natural glow as light bounces off the marble and gold mosaics that adorn them.
We’ll also visit the beautiful Monreale cathedral, which watches over Palermo from a hilltop just outside the city. Inside, we’ll have plenty of time to wander through the Romanesque cloisters and admire the glittering Byzantine mosaics.
DAY 5 Campofelice di Roccella You can choose to relax at the hotel today, or perhaps head to the private beach.
After dinner this evening, perhaps take the hotel shuttle into Cefalù and enjoy a drink with your fellow travellers as the sun sets over the island.
DAY 6 Agrigento & Piazza Armerina Today we offer an optional excursion to the ancient town of Agrigento, home to the Valley of the Temples.
We’ll explore this wonderful showcase of Sicily’s Greek past in the company of a Local Guide, before continuing on to the fascinating Roman Villa del Casale. Located close to the town of Piazza Armerina, it was built in the 4th century and boasts the richest, largest and most complex collection of Roman mosaics in the world.
DAY 7 Campofelice di Roccella There’s more time today to relax in Campofelice di Roccella and enjoy the facilities at your hotel.
The shuttle will once again take you to Cefalù this afternoon, where you can shop for some last-minute souvenirs.
DAY 8 Palermo to UK Today we’ll transfer to the airport for our flight back to the UK.
